Certificate

The Biotechnology Technician Certificate and associate degree programs are similar in prerequisites and content in the specialized courses. An internship is included in each. The certificate program permits students to concentrate on course work with the goal of entering the job market after completing the required 29 credits. The degree program has a general education component and additional science courses.

Many graduates of the certificate program return to Middlesex and apply all the credits previously earned to the associate degree.
