The IT Support Specialist program prepares students for an entry-level position in information technology. The program provides an intensive hands-on experience where students learn by doing in a lab/classroom environment. Students are exposed to PCs, Workstations, Peripherals, Operating Systems, computer Applications, and LAN and WAN topology.

The program provides exposure t the big picture and troubleshooting situations taught through the use of case studies and simulations. The coursework includes: equipment and operating system troubleshooting, hardware and software installation, remote and local diagnostic techniques and time and team management. The program finishes with a final capstone project designed to incorporate the learned skills from the provided modules and apply them to a real world situations.
