Associate in Science

Designed to provide the courses usually found in the first year of a bachelor's degree program in engineering. The program is particularly appropriate for students who are not ready to take calculus when they begin college studies, as the program includes precalculus mathematics. Course work in calculus, chemistry, calculus-based physics, engineering graphics and computing is combined with general education requirements and electives. Faculty work closely with students to provide academic guidance and transfer advice based upon the choice of an engineering discipline and the requirements of the transfer institution.
