Associate in Science

The Aviation Maintenance Technology program prepares students for employment with major and commuter airlines and airplane and helicopter engine manufacturers and provides the background for advancement to supervisory or managerial positions in these industries.

The hands-on aircraft maintenance instruction and training at the East Coast Aerotech School, Hanscom field, Bedford, is the first component of the program. Students complete the requirements for the Associate in Science degree at Middlesex. The general education and business courses strengthen communications, computer and management competency. The Middlesex associate degree credits are awarded on receipt of recommendation from East Coast Aerotech School. Students may begin their Middlesex course work at any time.
